Paul has had a distinguished career as a brand marketer, and is recognized internationally as a teacher, coach and advisor on consumer marketing, strategic planning, and new business development.
After receiving his Master in International Management with Highest Honors from AGSIM – Thunderbird, Paul trained in brand management with Richardson-Vicks (now Procter & Gamble), then worked for Sandoz in increasing levels of brand management in both the US and Europe.
Paul worked for American Home Products’ Whitehall-Robins division (later merged into Wyeth, now Pfizer) for five years, first as Director, Asia, then as General Manager, Japan. After turning around and growing AHP’s consumer business in Japan, Paul was hired by SmithKline Beecham, where he again turned around and grew their Japan consumer healthcare business.
Paul has pioneered new media methods in TV, Print, and Online, and has won advertising industry awards and accolades in all three media.
