Paul has a proven track record of successfully developing new international markets, new products and brands, and new distribution outlets for a variety of digital, service, and consumer products companies.
Paul started pioneering Internet venture @Asia in Tokyo in 1999, advertiser-centric online media agency Globalis Media in Tokyo in 2006, and outsourced tech staffing company ExDigita in the Philippines in 2013.
Previously, Paul led the expansion into Asia-Pacific of Claria Corporation, an online behavioral marketing company. Within two years, Paul had established Claria as the leader in its industry in Asia-Pacific, which led to a $30 million investment in Claria by Softbank, as well as a joint venture with Softbank and Yahoo! Japan.
Paul’s extraordinary success in developing new business largely comes from his multi-disciplinary approach. He synergistically combines rigorous analysis of facts and data, with structured creativity and innovation techniques, and with his insights as an internationally experienced marketer and new media pioneer.
Time and time again, Paul has developed new business strategies for companies, evolved them into strategic plans, and then successfully led the tactical implementation of the plans. He has a track record of helping companies develop new business in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
In addition to helping companies develop new technologies and products and enter new markets, Paul has also helped companies pitch – and win – important new partners, distributors, or clients. Paul knows what consumers expect, and what marketers expect from agencies. Paul has experience teaching major ad agency personnel marketing and advertising processes.
